So today I bought my new Razor electric dirt bike. A lot of people have asked me why I went for a Razor dirt bike when there are so many generic mini dirt bikes out there, which are often sold a lot cheaper than the Razor models.
Here’s Why I’ve Chosen Razor Dirt Bikes
When you buy a Razor electric dirt bike, or any other name-brand pocket bike for that matter, you usually get certain guarantees that you don’t get with the generics. For instance, if your Razor dirt bike arrives and it’s faulty, you just have to log onto their website, and there’s a button right there for Customer Care. Once you’ve been stung by a nameless mini dirt bike or pit bike supplier, who disappears into thin air once he h
as your money, you’ll appreciate buying from a company that has a Customer Care service, as well as a warranty, even if it’s just a standard ninety day warranty.
Another reason that I picked a Razor dirt bike over a cheaper, nameless one, is that I’ve bought Razor pocket bikes before and have always been impressed with the quality. Razor is an actual, established company that manufactures their mini bikes, and not just a dime a dozen online retailer. As such, they have a reputation to keep, so when I bought my Razor dirt bike from them, I knew I was getting something good.
The main downside of buying a Razor pocket dirt bike, is that they only have electric dirt bikes available. They don’t have anything gas powered. This means that I’m not able to customize or upgrade my dirt bike. I can replace certain key dirt bike parts, like tires, inner tubing, etc., but there’s no way to switch out the engine for increased performance because, quite simply, the electric dirt bike doesn’t have an engine. This puts me at a bit of a disadvantage if I ever decide to compete against other dirt bike riders, but for now I’m quite content to take it in turns with my friends, running time trial on my Razor dirt bike.
So what if I don’t have a bike that’s the best there is. At least I’ve got a proper, guaranteed Razor dirt bike, that’s got a ninety day warranty against any manufacturing faults, and all for the, I think, reasonable price of $239.
Given The Chance Again I Would Pick The Razor Dirt Bike
Because frankly, I don’t have $239 to hand to some invisible figure on the internet, simply trusting that he’s going to send me a fully functional, dependable dirt bike. But when you do business with a large company like Razor, which has its reputation at stake and so has something to lose, I can at least rest easy that even if I don’t get a brilliant bargain deal, I at least get what I pay for.
