KIDS PIT BIKES

Find The Perfect Pit Bike For You

So you’re thinking of buying a pit bike, but you’re not sure where to start? Well, first of all you’re going to have to decide how powerful you want your pit bike to be. With pit bikes, this is measured in cc, or cubic centimeters, such as 50cc pit bikes, 100cc or 125cc pit bikes.

Which Is The Best Pit Bike For You?

This measurement refers to how much fuel your pit bike uses, but it is also generally used as a measure of what ‘league’ or ‘class’ a pit bike sits in, in terms of size and power. The smallest pit or dirt bikes tend to be around 50cc, then there are the 125cc pit bikes, then 250cc, and they just keep on going up from there.

What size pit bike you want is going to depend vary much on who will be using it, and what it will be used for. If you’re buying a first-time pit bike for your fourteen year old son, then a 50cc or 70cc pit bike would probably be a good idea. If you’re buying the pit bike for an adult though, you’re going to be looking to start with something larger, that comes with a little more oomph; perhaps a 125cc dirt bike.

Let’s say for the sake of argument that you are buying the pit bike for yourself, and you have decided to buy a 125cc pit bike. Well, now you have to decide exactly which make of dirt pit bike you want to buy, because there are hundreds of manufacturers of there that sell 125cc pit bikes.

Since the market is so broad, with new models being released all the time, it would be pointless for me to list particular 125cc pit bikes, so instead you’re just going to look around and see what catches your eye. Just to help you make up your mind though, here are a few tips for getting a good deal when buying pit bikes and pit bike parts online:

Tips For Buying Pit Bikes Online

Compare prices. You will be amazed at how much the price can vary from one 125cc pit bike to another, and this price doesn’t always reflect a difference in quality. In fact, sometimes you’ll notice two identical bikes being sold for two completely different prices, because distributors are allowed to set their own prices.

Compare makes. Check out some of the major brands out there, such as Giovanni, Thumpster, Sikk, or PisterPro, and see what they have to offer. You might decide that you only want to buy a bike manufactured by an American company, or you may decide that the Giovanni 125cc pit bikes look much better than any other.

Compare style. What your 125cc dirt bike looks like may seem like a rather shallow thing to be considering, but since you, or whoever you’re buying the bike for, may be looking at the handlebars of this pit bike for months, through wind, rain, sleet and snow, it’s probably a good idea to get a pit bike that you like the look of.

Basically, all I can say, is find a make and model that you like, and then shop around for the cheapest price for that particular model.

Don’t forget, you’re on the web, so you have one of the world’s greatest information gathering tools at your fingertips!
