The latest model, the KX85 2011, is definitely something that you should consider at the top of your list. It has a two-stroke single engine with KIPS (Kawasaki integrated power valve system), which greatly improves low and high rpm power on the bike. It has an 84cc displacement, which is not large, but more than enough power to haul the lightweight bike and your son around the dirt track and up muddy inclines. It’s bore x stroke is 48.5 x 45.8mm. It also comes with a Cerburetion Keihin PWK28.
